Hibbertia superans Toelken, a shrub has retained the listing as an endangered species.

In New South Wales this species is currently known to occur in the Greater Sydney region of New South Wales. It mainly occurs in the northwest Sydney region between Baulkham Hills and Wisemans Ferry with very small numbers occurring in the Berowra Valley, Belrose, North Turramurra, Dural and Manly and in the lower Blue Mountains between Blaxland and Faulconbridge.
