The Eden Local Aboriginal Land Council is the proponent for the project and once complete, the track would be available for the public to access. The track would be owned and operated by the NSW National Parks and Wildlife Service.
This review of environmental factors has examined and taken into account to the fullest extent possible, all matters affecting or likely to affect the environment by reason of the proposed activity. This has included consideration of impacts on cultural values (including Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal heritage), socio-economic values (including potential impacts on the community resulting from construction works) and threatened species, populations and ecological communities and their habitats. It has also considered potential impacts to threatened species and matters of national environmental significance listed under the Commonwealth Environment Protection and Biodiversity Conservation Act.
