The parks extend from the coastal lowlands of the Cumberland Plain to the western fall of the Great Dividing Range and are a significant portion of one of the largest, most continuous areas of protected bushland in New South Wales. The parks straddle the South Eastern Highlands and the Sydney Basin bioregions.
