The National Parks and Wildlife Service has developed a draft master plan for the Currango Homestead precinct. This master plan includes proposals to undertake minor interior modifications to the homestead to separate it into 2 wings, improvement of the kitchens and furnishings, and the development of a new caretakers' cottage and 2 additional 3-bedroom cottages. The proposals of the draft plan are consistent with the conservation management plan for this site.
