This publication is the pest management strategy for the Blue Mountains region, which covers the Sydney, South Western Slopes, South Eastern Highlands, and Brigalow Belt South bioregions.

Govetts Leap is located at Blackheath and is within the Blue Mountains National Park, which is part of the Greater Blue Mountains World Heritage Area.

Blue Mountains National Park and Kanangra-Boyd National Park are in the traditional Country of the Gundungurra and Darug people. Located in the Blue Mountains region of New South Wales, the parks have a combined area of over 340,000 hectares. This plan outlines how the natural and cultural values of these parks will be conserved and promoted for community use.

This report details the matters considered in preparing the plan of management for these parks.

This indigenous land use agreement is between the Gundungurra people, the Gundungurra Tribal Council Aboriginal Corporation, Gundungurra Aboriginal Heritage Association and the NSW Government.

This fire management strategy incorporates Blue Mountains National Park.
