This document is the pest management strategy for the Far South Coast Region and covers the southeast forest areas of NSW stretching between Batemans Bay in the north, and the Victorian border in the south. The region extends inland to include the southern escarpment and parts of the Southern Tablelands including the major towns of Bombala and Braidwood.
Mount Imlay National Park is located in the far south coast hinterland of New South Wales, approximately 20 kilometres south-west of Eden. It has an area of 3,808 hectares and consists of steep, deeply dissected forested country around the peak of Mount Imlay.
This fire management strategy incorporates South East Forest National Park including Egan Peaks Nature Reserve, Mount Imlay National Park and Yurammie State Conservation Area.
