Find a licensed wildlife rehabilitation provider in New South Wales | Native animals
We currently license various volunteer groups and a small number of facilities and individuals as wildlife rehabilitation providers. Together, they service nearly all of New South Wales.

Obtaining a licence | Native animals
The Department of Climate Change, Energy, the Environment and Water regulates wildlife rehabilitation to ensure services are available, reliable and applied in accordance with best practice.

Our standards of care | Native animals
Licensed wildlife rehabilitation providers must ensure that the welfare needs of injured and sick protected animals are met, so the conservation benefits from their rehabilitation and release are optimised.
