This document is the pest management strategy for the South Coast Region, which stretches from Stanwell Park in the north to Batemans Bay in the south, and west of Goulburn along the tablelands.
Budderoo National Park, Barren Grounds Nature Reserve, Macquarie Pass National Park and Robertson Nature Reserve form an inter-related group of parks and reserves at the eastern edge of the Southern Highlands, southwest of Wollongong. They comprise extensive areas of plateau and adjacent escarpment, predominantly supporting heathland, woodland, tall open forest and rainforest. The escarpment provides spectacular scenery and several lookouts and waterfalls are popular visitor attractions.
A plan of management for Budderoo National Park, Macquarie Pass National Park, Barren Grounds Nature Reserve and Robertson Nature Reserve was adopted in 1998.These amendments arose from the addition of former crown land in the Carrington Falls area to Budderoo National Park and the reassessment of an action with regard to Clover Hill and Glenview Roads in Macquarie Pass National Park.
