The Yanga Conservation Management Plan (CMP) provides detail about the significant shared heritage values of the parks and is supplementary to the plan of management.
Yanga National Park, Yanga State Conservation Area and Yanga Nature Reserve are located on the floodplain of the Lower Murrumbidgee River at the western edge of the Riverina agricultural region, approximately 8 kilometres outside of Balranald. The parks cover approximately 71,711 hectares.
