The purpose of this review of environmental factors is to examine all matters affecting or likely to affect the environment as a result of the proposed installation of a new NSW Telco Authority telecommunications facility comprising a new 25m monopole with antennas, a new generator shelter and photovoltaic array together with the use of the existing Rural Fire Service equipment shelter within a secure compound. The proposal is in Deua National Park, within the Eurobodalla Shire Council Local Government Area.
This document is the pest management strategy for the Far South Coast Region and covers the southeast forest areas of NSW stretching between Batemans Bay in the north, and the Victorian border in the south. The region extends inland to include the southern escarpment and parts of the Southern Tablelands including the major towns of Bombala and Braidwood.
The Bendethera homestead precinct is a former pastoral settlement that is now part of Deua National Park in the south coast region of NSW. This plan sets out how to best manage and conserve this historic heritage place and landscape.
The plans of management for Far South Coast Escarpment Parks, Kosciuszko National Park and Mummel Gulf National Park and State Conservation Area were previously amended in 2014 to enable a two-year trial of horse riding in wilderness areas. The trial finished in April 2016 and horse riding in these locations is no longer authorised. Initial monitoring results indicate there has been low usage and low environmental risks. It is now proposed to amend the plans of management to allow horse riding to continue in the same wilderness locations until 31 December 2017, while the full evaluation of the trial is undertaken.

The plan of management covers Monga National Park, Deua National Park, Gourock National Park, Wadbilliga National Park and Badja Swamps Nature Reserve.
The amendments to Far South Coast Escarpment Parks Plan of Management, Kosciuszko National Park Plan of Management and Mummel Gulf National Park and State Conservation Area Plan of Management enable horse riding to continue in specific wilderness areas. These amendments were adopted by the Minister for the Environment on 13 February 2019.
This amends the Far South Coast Escarpment Parks Plan of Management to enable a trial of horse riding on two identified routes through wilderness in Deua and Monga National Parks for a period of two years.
The Far South Coast Escarpment Parks include Monga National Park, Deua National Park, Gourock National Park, Wadbilliga National Park and Badja Swamps Nature Reserve. The parks are located on the coastal ranges of South Eastern New South Wales and cover a combined area of over 240,000 hectares.
This fire management strategy incorporates Badja Swamps Nature Reserve, Berlang State Conservation Area, Frogs Hole State Conservation Area and Monga State Conservation Area.
